Savings

Saving is a good habit
Savings help to provide for the unexpected. Saving is also the lowest cost way to afford the big-ticket items including
- a wedding
- a new baby
- a new house
- a new kitchen
- a holiday
The list goes on and it is whatever is important to you. The more you save, the more likely you are to be able to access our lowest interest rates when you need a loan.
We do not pay interest on savings accounts but as a member, you may receive a dividend on savings when we make a surplus profit. Lower interest rates plus a dividend on savings: a double incentive to save.
Benefits of a savings account
You own a share in the ownership of the Credit Union, eligible to earn a dividend on your savings.
We offer members a Christmas Savers Account and a Holiday Savers Account. These accounts restrict your ability to withdraw funds until November or June.
